How to Reach Nepal
Nepal Airline is the national flag carrier of Nepal with Flights to and from Delhi. Other international airlines operating to and from Kathmandu are:
- Indian Airlines (Delhi, Kolkata)
- Jet Airways (Delhi, Mumbai)
- Jet Lite(Delhi)
- Buddha Airlines
Visitors coming to Nepal by land must enteronly through one of these entry points:
- Belhiya, Bhairawa
- Mahendra Nagar (Nepal-India Border),
- Tatopani, Kodari (Nepal China Border).
Note:The overland tourist entering the country with their vehicles must posses an international carnet or complete customs formalaties.

Foreign currencies must be exchanged only through the bank or authorised foreign exchange dealers. The receipts from such transaction are to be obtained and retained. Visitors can exchange money at the foreign exchange counter at the airport upon also.
Indian currency Rs. 500/- and Rs. 1,000/- notes are not allowed, will not be exchanged and will not be accepted for transaction of any kind.
